Kalena has worked in program management and operations for nonprofits and startups for the past seven years. As the Chief Operating Officer, she leans on her experience building effective and people-centered work environments. She is motivated by NCL’s work to make housing in Colorado more attainable for residents of lower socio-economic backgrounds. With a degree in international relations and community development, she gravitated to mission-oriented work on poverty alleviation. Her work has taken her to India, Peru, and Guatemala.
